Sushi a fait de très beaux progrès depuis son arrivée. Toujours aussi affectueux et attaché à ses humains, il est maintenant beaucoup plus calme dans ses émotions et se désorganise beaucoup moins lorsqu’il recherche de l’attention.
Il a même eu la chance de cohabiter dans une maison avec huit autres chats et un chien, une expérience qui lui a permis de démontrer qu’il est tout à fait capable de vivre avec d’autres animaux. Il peut toutefois se montrer un peu plus dominant avec les chattes et les chiens, mais avec une bonne introduction et un environnement adapté, il arrive à cohabiter avec eux.
Ses petits moments où son besoin d’attention déborde sont maintenant beaucoup plus rares. Il reste un chat très démonstratif qui aime être près de ses humains, recevoir des caresses et participer à la vie de la maison, mais il a appris à mieux gérer ses émotions et à communiquer ses besoins. Il adore être stimulé adéquatement, agissant presque comme un chien au quotidien.
Sushi est un petit cœur qui a tellement d’amour à donner. Il mérite une famille prête à le comprendre, à l’accompagner et à l’aimer pour toute sa vie. En retour, elle découvrira un compagnon profondément attachant, fidèle et rempli d’affection.

Sushi has made wonderful progress since arriving at the shelter. Still just as affectionate and attached to his humans, he is now much calmer emotionally and is much less likely to become overwhelmed when seeking attention.
He has even had the opportunity to live in a home with eight other cats and a dog, which allowed him to show that he is absolutely capable of living with other animals. He can be a little more dominant with female cats and dogs, but with a proper introduction and the right environment, he is able to coexist with them.
His little moments of overwhelming need for attention are now much less frequent. He is still a very expressive cat who loves being close to his humans, receiving affection, and being part of everyday household life, but he has learned to manage his emotions better and communicate his needs. He loves being appropriately stimulated and can almost act like a dog in his day-to-day life.
Sushi is a little sweetheart with so much love to give. He deserves a family who is willing to understand him, support him, and love him for the rest of his life. In return, they will discover a deeply endearing, loyal, and incredibly affectionate companion.
